APPLICATION: 
As a new type of feed additive. Feeding calcium formate to gain weight and using calcium formate as a feed additive for piglets can promote appetite and reduce diarrhea rate. Adding 1% to 1.5% calcium formate to the diet of piglets can significantly improve the production performance of weaned piglets. German research has found that adding 1.3% calcium formate to the diet of weaned piglets can improve feed conversion rate by 7-8%, and adding 0.9% can reduce the occurrence of diarrhea in piglets. Zheng Jianhua (1994) added 1.5% calcium formate to the diet of 28 day old weaned piglets and raised them for 25 days. The daily gain of piglets increased by 7.3%, feed conversion rate increased by 2.53%, protein and energy utilization efficiency increased by 10.3% and 9.8%, respectively, and diarrhea in piglets was significantly reduced. Wu Tianxing (2002) added 1% calcium formate to the diet of three-way hybrid weaned piglets, resulting in a 3% increase in daily weight gain, a 9% increase in feed conversion rate, and a 45.7% decrease in piglet diarrhea rate. Other important points to note are that the use of calcium formate is effective before and after weaning. Calcium formate contains 30% easily absorbed calcium, so it is important to adjust the proportion of calcium and phosphorus when preparing feed.

PACKING:
