Ammonium Polyphosphate (Phase-II) Modified by Melamine GM-APP220 is a "Environmentally Preferred" flame retardant based on phosphorus /nitrogen synergism, free formaldehyde, manufactured from APP-II with melamine modified.
Melamine Modified Ammonium Polyphosphate II is different from APP-II in the following properties:
-Reduce solubility in water;
-Reduce viscosity in water;
-Obviously improve dispersibility and compatibility with polymers and resins;
-Increase fluidity of powder;
-Improve thermal expansion efficiency during inflaming retarding process and insulation performance.

Uses:
GM-APP220 can be used for all applications that ammonium polyphosphate is suitable. It is more fine than APPII , at the meantime it is more rule granule figure,
which makes it more dispersive in plastics and rubber than APP-II .
